Infinite possibilities….
Infinite passion…..
Infinite danger….

His touch spirals through me, warm and sweet, wicked and hot. I shouldn’t trust him. I shouldn’t tell him my secrets. But how do I not when he is the reason I breathe? He is what I need.

At the young age of eighteen, tragedy and a dark secret force Lara to flee all she has known and loves to start a new life. Now years later, with a new identity as Amy, she’s finally dared to believe she is forgotten–even if she cannot forget. But just when she lets down her guard, the ghosts of her past are quick to punish her, forcing her back on the run.

On a plane, struggling to face the devastation of losing everything again and starting over, Amy meets Liam Stone, a darkly entrancing recluse billionaire, who is also a brilliant, and famous, prodigy architect. A man who knows what he wants and goes after it. And what he wants is Amy. Refusing to take “no” as an answer, he sweeps her into a passionate affair, pushing her to her erotic limits. He wants to possess her. He makes her want to be possessed. Liam demands everything from her, accepting nothing less. But what if she is too devastated by tragedy to know when he wants more than she should give? And what if there is more to Liam than meets the eyes?

3.5 out of 5 stars

There is so much mystery and intrigue right from the get go that I was immediately pulled into the drama. I wanted to know about Amy's past and what she’s running from. She's so used to being on her own and then she meets Liam, who is a sexy and somewhat dominating man. She feels an instant connection with him. He's interesting because its like he knows that she's running from something without being told and wants to help her. I thought Amy and Liam had great chemistry together and there where some super hot sex scenes throughout the book.

A lot happens in a short period of time. Their attraction, him wanting to help her and his protectiveness. I thought the first half of the book is very fast past. I was very much on the edge of my seat but by 60% I still didn’t know a ton of information about her past and had a lot of questions.

There are a few sub characters that are involved and there is lots of mystery surrounding them, who they are, and how exactly they play into everything. I was completely intrigued but was always wanting more information. While I was completely hooked, I felt like that mystery that I was so into was dragged out a bit in the second half because I just wasn’t getting enough detail.

The ending – oh my! While I did get some of the answers I wanted to learn, there is a cliffhanger. A HUGE cliffhanger. I was stunned with a very audible “what the heck?!” being said. The whole time I was so hooked with a nice build of wanting more and then it ended so abruptly. It just about killed me.

I thought this was a great book. There is a book two coming out and I will definitely get it. I have to know what happens with Amy and Liam. I need more answers! I would definitely recommend this book but just be prepared for that cliffhanger at the end. If I had known there was such a big cliffhanger, I might have waited until book two came out before I read this one, I am not a patient person! ;-)
